The beginning of the experiment

The German children started their experiment in Mai. The Comenius working group was first looking

for a fine place in our school yard. Than we burried the different materials. We forgot corc but we burried this later.

All the girls and boys were very busy and we were really curious about what will happen with the things.

Polly from England was helping.

After four weeks

After four weeks we digged up the materials. It was very exciting.

The apple and the banana didn`t look very appetizing anymore. An earthworm was next to the glas. The paper and the plastic things were dirty but they did not really change.

WHAT A PITTY. WE CAN'T FINISH OUR EXPERIMENT .

THE PLACE WHERE WE DIGGED OUR WASTE WAS DESTROJED. THERE WERE CONSTRUCTION WORKS IN OUR GYM AND THE WORKERS NEEDED THE SPACE TO LIE DOWN THE MATERIAL.

WE GUESS THAT THERE IS STILL THE GLAS , PLASTIC, METALL AND THE CORC IN THE GROUND. BECAUSE WE KNOW THAT THESE MATERIALS NEED MANY YEARS TO ROT.
