Gryfino Forest  -  Krzywy Las  -  The crooked forest

In the north of Poland there is really mysterious place. About half an hour by car, south of the town Szczecin near the German border there is a crooked forest. It`s a part of a forest near Gryfino - that`s why it is called Gryfino Forest.

More than 100 trees there look like a question mark that is upside down. The lower part of the trees is hooked in an angle of 90 grades. It`s fascinating.

It is still a mystery why the trees are crooked but there are different theories.
