My visit to Stonehenge

When I arrived at Stonehenge I could not believe how big it was. It is hard to believe that people could build such a large temple without any modern equipment like cranes and bulldozers.

I paid my fee to enter Stonehenge and went on the guided tour. This was very interesting because it told the story as we walked round. They also have recordings in different languages so I was able to understand what the tour guide was saying.

Later that day we stopped for lunch and carried on with the rest of the tour.

In the evening I caught the train to Nottingham. The next morning I made my way to Lantern Lane School.

I have been very busy with the year 6 children. Here I joined in with their cycling lessons. All the year 6 children learn how to cycle safely on the roads. They learn how to indicate where they are going and why they should always wear a helmet.

I had lots of fun finding out about cycling in England but got a bit confused because they cycle on the left hand side of the road.

While we were out on the cycling test it started to rain and I didn’t have any waterproof clothes. My magical frog tried to jump into my pocket but missed and fell into a large puddle. He became very wet and lost his powers and shape. My friends at Lantern Lane School came up with a great idea and turn it into magical boat.

I now have to leave England but before I do Ethan and Issac are going to set my next challenge.
