Polly is travelling to Germany
I have enjoyed my visit in Denmark and now I am travelling to Germany.
I am looking forward to visit “Lorely”.
I am bringing a comb as a present for “Lorely”.
POLLY IN GERMANY
Polly arrived at our school after the Comenius Meeting in England. It was still snowing and very cold.
Polly went to Rheinland-Pfalz -a state of Germany. At the river Rhein the puppet climbed the rock LORELEY. At that place the river is narrow and dangerous. There is a legend that a nice girl is sitting there and distracts the skippers and lets their boats sink.
POLLY wanted to bring her comb to the girl but the comb broke. so POLLY looked at the great natur around the rock. She was really fascinated .when POLLY came back to our school spring started and thepuppethad a walk around Aschersleben with the pupils. POLLY liked the pretty and colourful spring flowers.
POLLY visited some classes and learned with the children. Sche watched how the Comenius working group started the waste experiment.
In a protected place in our playground the pupils buried different materials like glas, plastic, metal, paper, green and corc.
Inbetween we recycled the broken comb int a plastic bucket. With this bucket POLLY now is travelling to POLAND.
She wants to fetch some salt from the SALT MINE WIELICZKA near Krakau.
Als Polly in unserer Schule ankam, schneite es noch, und es war sehr kalt.
Sie besuchte LORELEI. Der Sage nach ist es ein Mädchen, das auf den Felsen über dem Fluss Rhein sitzt und die Schiffer ablenkt, so dass ihre Boote sinken.Leider ging Polly's Kamm kaputt.
In Aschersleben recycelten die Kinder aus den Resten des Kammes einen Plasteeimer. Polly machte mit den Kindern einen Stadtrundgang. Ihr gefielen die hübschen bunten Frühlingsblumen.
In unserer Schule hatte Polly viel Spaß. Sie lernte mit den Kindern und schaute zu, wie die Kinder der Recycling-AG das Abfall-Experiment starteten.
Mit ihrem neuen Plasticeimer reist die Puppe nun nach Polen. Sie soll Salz aus dem SALZBERGWERK WIELICZKA nahe bei Krakau holen.
