My aim in Austria

I’m setting off to Austria soon. My next aim is very serious. Apart from my culinary adventure, I’d also like to visit magical places and when I think about it, I haven’t been to any church so far. That’s why I want to go to the cathedral in Linz and climb its very high tower. I hope to be able to spot a nice restaurant from the tower to try traditional Austrian food. I’ve already eaten soup in Poland, it’s time for the main dish now!

Wyruszam niedługo do Austrii. Mój kolejny cel jest bardzo poważny. Poza przygodą kulinarną, chciałabym również odwiedzić jakieś magiczne miejsce i gdy sobie pomyślę to nie byłam do tej pory w żadnym kościele! Dlatego też chcę pojechać do katedry w Linz i wspiąć się na jej bardzo wysoką wieżę. Mam nadzieję, że uda mi się stamtąd dostrzec sympatyczną restaurację i tam spróbować tradycyjnego austriackiego jedzenia. Zjadłam już zupę w Polsce, czas na drugie danie!

Die österreichischen Schüler sind mit mir nach Linz gefahren und haben mir geholfen auf Linzer Dom zu klettern. Von dort konnte ich das Wahrzeichen von Linz erblicken, den Pöstlingberg, wo es auch ein leckeres Restaurant gibt. Dort haben alle Kinder und ich ein Wiener Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat gegessen. Die Schüler haben mir dazu eine Gabel und ein Messer aus Metall gebastelt.

The Austrian pupils went with me to Linz and helped me to climb up the cathedral of Linz. From there I could see the town’s landmark, the Pöstlingberg (Pöstling mountain) where a delicous restaurant is. There all the children and me ate a Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad. The pupils built me a fork and a knife from metal.
