My aim in Belgium
I arrived from France with broken glass test tubes .
But my aim in Belgium is to create a vase for flowers. Flowers for the school.
I arrived from France with glass shards of the test tubes.
Now, with all those broken pieces, I went to a famous factory in Seraing, a small city in the neighbourhood of the big city Liège.
In this city is the famous factory of Val Saint Lambert located.
This factory was for years one of the most famous factories about glass decoration in Europe and even all over the world.
I went there with my the glass shards.
In the factory they have melted the glass and made a beautiful vase for me.
I have been to the park in Brussels, but at this time of the year its impossible to find flowers. Its December and now there are not growing flowers beceause its winter.For this reason I went to a flower shop nearby and I have bought some flowers for the school.
They had already tulips to buy.
Tulips are the first sign of spring.
But it will takes at least 2 or 3 months before spring spring will comes…
Ik ben in België aangekomen met de reageerbuisjes…..maar wat rest zijn enkel scherven !
Met deze schermen ben ik naar de wereldvermaarde glasfabriek in Seraing gegaan, dicht bij de grote stad Luik.
In deze stad bevindt zich Val Saint Lambert.
Deze fabriek was jarenlang wereldberoemd omwille van zijn kristal.
In de fabriek hebben ze de scherven gesmolten en er een prachtige vaas van gemaakt.
Met deze vaas ben ik naar Brussel gereden en ik ben er op zoek gegaan naar bloemen in het park.
Maar in deze tijd van het jaar is het onmogelijk om bloemen te vinden.
Daarom ben ik naar een bloemenwinkel gegaan en ik heb er tulpen gekocht.
Ze hadden er al tulpen, zelfs midden in de winter.
Tulpen zijn het eerste teken van de lente.
Maar het is nog lang wachten vooral de lente zal komen, minstens 2 tot 3 maanden.
Mijn opdracht in Bulgarije is : maak op een leuke plaats in Bulgarije een foto van mij, met kinderen in typische Bulgaarse klederdracht ,en verander de vaas in een fotokader.
